GiGA Genie Hotel is an infotainment system that enables guests to access various hotel services easily and quickly through voice control from their rooms. This project focused on a comprehensive redesign of the application. The existing touch-centric interface, with its small button layout, was not optimized for voice control and distance viewing. To address this, we transitioned to a large card-type interface that significantly enhanced visibility and operability, allowing guests to view and control functions effortlessly from a distance. Additionally, we developed diverse icon sets and mood options that enable GUI customization aligned with each hotel's brand identity and concept. We implemented warm-toned monochrome and dark mode options, creating a sophisticated design that harmoniously integrates with both the guest room environment and device ecosystem.

기가지니 호텔은 음성제어를 통해 객실에서 호텔의 다양한 서비스를 쉽고 빠르게 이용할 수 있는 인포테인먼트 시스템입니다. 이번 프로젝트는 해당 애플리케이션의 전면 개편을 목표로 진행되었습니다.

기존의 터치 중심 인터페이스는 작은 버튼 배치로 인해 원거리 조작과 음성제어 환경에 적합하지 않았습니다. 이를 개선하기 위해 대형 카드 타입의 인터페이스로 전환하여, 멀리서도 한눈에 파악하고 제어할 수 있도록 시인성과 조작성을 대폭 강화했습니다.

또한 호텔별 브랜드 아이덴티티를 반영할 수 있도록 다양한 아이콘 세트와 무드 옵션을 제공하여, 각 호텔의 콘셉트에 맞는 GUI 커스터마이징이 가능하도록 설계했습니다. 따뜻한 톤의 모노크롬과 다크모드를 구현하여 객실 공간 및 디바이스와의 자연스러운 조화를 고려한 감각적인 디자인을 완성했습니다.
